My sister is the most amazing person ever. I was having a “dress shopping crisis” last night at Macy’s in Louisville, and she made a special trip to her Macy’s in Lexington to shop with me. We traded photos of dresses in an effort to get me to pick something elegant and not old ladylike. I my sister.

Kiddo now says, “pretty please with sugar on top”, which is absolutely adorable. Right now however, it sounds like “pretty please my sugar top!!!” and is said almost as a scream.

So I went to start up Beauty and the Beast for Kiddo, and they picked The Big Lebowski instead. I’m sure Mat is very proud.

Kiddo saw their first big screen movie last night. Wreck-It Ralph was a hit!

Kiddo looks so much older today! They picked out a turquoise and grey striped Henley top and jeans… and then it went south with the shoe choice: pink “Oma shoes” (bright pink Crocs with Disney princesses on them).

When I was 5, I had a crush on a guy named Joshua. He owned a model replica of the Millennium Falcon and let me be the Empire Strikes Back Princess Leah “Hoth” version.
